Weekly DIRECT (4rs) day time flights operate with British Airways to Ponta Delgada from Heathrow (LHR) on Saturdays (Apr – Oct) and Wednesdays (mid May – mid Sept). On most days of the week there are flights from the UK to Ponta Delgada via mainland Portugal (Lisbon/Porto). Direct flights also operate from America and Canada and some European cities including Paris.

On most days of the week there are flights from the UK to Pico island via Portugal (Lisbon/Porto). Direct flights also operate from the UK, America and Canada and some European cities including Paris to Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel Island Azores and from there, you can get an inter island flight with SATA Azorean Airlines. You can also fly via mainland Portugal to Horta (HOR) on neighbouring Faial Island and get a 30 minute ferry crossing with Atlânticoline to Pico Island (Madalena).
