Casa Portuguesa

Casa Portuguesa is a stunning property, newly refurbished and opened in January 2024. It was originally a very grand manor house in one of the most prestigious streets in Ponta Delgada. The restoration took many years and has retained a lot of the historical features as well as offering modern luxury and flair. The property is set in an elevated position in a quiet area  overlooking one of the classic Portuguese public garden and town hall.

Most rooms are doubles with private balcony areas. There is one family suite with 4 beds and a small kitchenette. A sumptuous breakfast is included as well as use of the hotel lounges.

There is a swimming pool in the gardens, a hot tub inside a glass house and outdoor terraces.

The boat base and harbour is a 10 minute walk through the old town.
