This luxurious hotel is located alongside the marina – just a 5 minute walk to our boat base. The hotel design is innovative and contemporary. It has a wine and cheese shop together with an excellent restaurant with views over the harbour and out to sea. There is a spectacular panoramic roof top out door pool and bar. Buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant overlooking the harbour and is included. The hotel is made up of 123 rooms and suites all with breath taking views of the ocean. The Octant Hotel Ponta Delgada features a casino, conference centre with 7 rooms, gym, spa and lobby market. The spa is environmentally friendly and they use natural, organic and locally produced products. A TERRA restaurant features local and fresh produce, their menu pays tribute to traditional Azorean foods and flavours. 

Rooms have patio doors leading onto balconies to take in the view. The rooms facilities include, air conditioning, soundproof walls, minibar, telephone, safe box, coffee machine, kettle/complimentary tea, USB ports, and a flat-screen cable TV . Private bathrooms come with a walk in shower (suites have bath and walk in shower), a hairdryer, bathrobe, hair dryer and free molten brown toiletries. Free WiFi is available throughout. The hotel’s interior is inspired by the natural surroundings of Ponta Delgada, showcasing their use of wood and shades of calming green. 

24 hour access to the pool and gym and breakfast can be ordered any time of the day. For double rooms – maximum 2 adults and 1 child in an extra bed.

– The Azor has developed a project called DHM green (reduce, reuse and recycle) that is being implemented in all our hotels and these measures will make it possible to reduce the environmental footprint of the hotel.

– They guarantee the application and execution of the various measures and the constant awareness for all the hotel staff.

– The hotel has developed a Certification system as a way to encourage the staff to make this change increasingly visible.
