"We could have done with an extra day at Terra Nostra in Furnas, maybe using it as a base for the walk in that corner of Sao Miguel. Terra Nostra hotel (as you told us) was wonderfully relaxing, with excellent facilities - we loved the botanical gardens, our balcony, the camellias, and of course the thermal swimming.
