This beautifully refurbished self catering guest house with 7 rooms is set in a one-hundred-year-old building featuring a sun terrace with dining tables and an outdoor pool. Free WiFi access is also available for guests. The theme is modern, bright and contemporary with the comfort of guests considered throughout from the facilities in the communal kitchen to the complimentary refreshments for guests. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated with either ensuite facilities or adjacent private bathroom.

A shared lounge area with retro-style armchairs and a flat-screen TV is also available. Our boat base is 15-20 minute walk from the guest lodge and the old town centre is approximately 5 minutes by foot.

The Canadiano Urban Nature Hotel is a recently renovated 3* superior hotel with a stylish, minimalistic design and top quality furnishings. The hotel has a strong sustainability policy which is integral to the design and service of the hotel. Just a 10 minute walk from our boat base, the location is in a quieter part of the town but also close to the historic city centre, museums, restaurants, shops and botanical gardens. Every one of the 50 rooms comes with a a private balcony, high quality beds and bedwear. Rooms also include a delightful lounge area and a modern ensuite bathroom. Amenities include a 43 inch TV, bedside USB charging ports, mini bar, kettle, safe and hairdryer. Free Wi-Fi  is available throughout the entire hotel and there is free parking. A delicious cooked breakfast together with cereals, fresh fruit and pastries is served each morning. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant, bar with lounge and 24 hour reception.

The Hotel Sete Cidades is situated in the centre of Ponta Delgada and just 10 minutes walk from our boat base in the marina. The rooms are decorated in a simplistic style with modern features with the option to choose balcony rooms that have views across the island towards the mountains. A good buffet breakfast is included every morning with fresh local produce and seasonal fruit. Hotel features include a rooftop terrace with panoramic views. All rooms have private ensuite bathrooms, free WIFI and cable TV. Rooms have large windows with mountain views and some have a balcony. The hotel consists of 32 rooms and 2 suites, newly refurbished and modernised.

This is newly refurbished accommodation with beautifully designed private rooms and apartment suites with private kitchenette. The en suite private rooms are spacious, modern and air conditioned. Bathrooms are equipped with hairdryer and shower, there is daily housekeeping and room service for guests. Daily breakfast is included but guests also have use of the open kitchen area during their stay. There is a contemporary hostel adjacent to the hotel with comfortable public lounges, a spacious kitchen with great facilities including fridge, cooker and dining area. The hostel features a garden terrace and table tennis for outdoor activities. Free parking is provided 400m from the hotel and paid parking on site.

Our boat base is approximately 10 minutes walk from ILHA Azores while the town centre is nearby with its’ shops, bars and restaurants all within easy access. Ponta Delgada airport is a 10 minute drive from this location.

This hotel has good facilities for a 3*** hotel.  Rooms include long comfortable beds and a private bathroom with bathtub/shower and a mini-bar. Guests can enjoy the daily breakfast buffet and dinner at the poolside restaurant. Their bar serves exotic and refreshing cocktails and a variety of afternoon snacks. The swimming pool has a spacious sun roof with sun loungers and parasols for shade. The hotel gym is a great for fitness lovers and for families the Vila Nova games room is a great place to enjoy time away together.

– The Vila Nova Hotel uses artificial light and electronic equipment that can remain unplugged. LED lamps are also used to be more energy efficient. 

– Each floor of the hotel provides a recycling bin. The Hotel kitchen seperates organic garbage that is collected daily. 

– The Hotel uses a much locally sorced ingredients as possible. They have planted a small garden within the hotel where they grow spices and vegetables.
