Our holidays on Sao Miguel Island all include 7 nights accommodation at the Sao Miguel Park Hotel ****  in the holiday price as standard (we also have a variety of other budget/upgrade accommodation options to choose from here)

We have personally chosen this beautiful 4-star hotel as our guest accommodation because of its excellent location and facilities. The location is a 15-minute walk to our base for the boats and the city’s beautiful botanical gardens are close by. The elevated position of the hotel means that the rooms are light, quiet and well-ventilated. Even though the hotel has great access to our boats, there are no busy roads nearby and the hotel is far away from the street noises familiar to seafront or busy city locations.

The hotel is ideal for families or large groups and rooms can easily accommodate up to two extra beds. Spacious rooms are sound proofed with air-conditioned and equipped with TV and fridge. There is the option to upgrade to sea/city view rooms (ask us for details). Adjacent rooms can be booked for families (note there are no interconnecting rooms at the Sao Miguel Park Hotel).

The hotel has a well equipped gym, indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, games room, bar, restaurant with sea views and free parking for guests. A good buffet breakfast is included. A buffet dinner is served from 19:00-21:30  every evening which costs approx 15 euros per person or 22 euros per person with unlimited wine & beer!  Room service is also available until 00:30 for soft meals.

Our prices are based on BB accommodation at the Sao Miguel Park Hotel **** in standard single/double/triple/quadruple ensuite rooms (no balcony). If you reserve a single room, this will be a twin/double for sole occupancy (there are no rooms with single beds at this hotel).

If you have booked large family rooms (triple/quad ensuite) these have a balcony with views across the town, mountains and with partial sea views. All rooms at the Sao Miguel Park Hotel have bathtubs except the adapted rooms. 

Standard twin/double room: These rooms offer a mountain view and some come with a balcony, accommodates up to 2 guests.

Standard plus king/twin room: These rooms are larger in size, all standard plus rooms include twin beds and offer a view overlooking the garden. All rooms come with a balcony, and accommodate up to 2 guests. 

Family rooms triple/quad: These rooms are very spacious and offer a garden view with a balcony. Accommodates up to 5 guests.

Superior rooms: These rooms offer a very spacious room and bed, with a large balcony overlooking the city/ocean. Accommodates up to 2 guests.
